RETAIL STOCK ASSOCIATE at Longwood Gardens – Kennett Square, Pennsylvania

Longwood Gardens is seeking seasonal Retail Stock Associates to support the day-to-day operations of the stock room through October 2025. Responsibilities include:

• Adhering to all Longwood Safety policies and procedures
• Unpacking and processing all merchandise received from vendors
• Completing all processing and receiving activities in accordance with productivity standards timelines
• Participating in stockroom maintenance, organization, and housekeeping
• Assisting in replenishment of stock onto the sales floor
• Assisting in the movement of fixtures and merchandise for new product and seasonal change
• Assisting in bi-annual physical inventory process

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Flexibility to work 30 – 40 hours per week including nights, weekends, and holiday
• Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
• Basic math skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Good understanding of warehouse safety regulations
• Ability to stand for long periods of time while processing shipments
• Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions
• Able to lift 50 pounds
