About This Position
JOB SUMMARY:
The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of multiple electrical projects on time and on budget with the highest standards of quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure the successful progress and completion of assigned projects by providing effective project management resources in alignment with established budgets, schedules, and contract documents.
Ensure accurate and timely project documentation, including but not limited to RFIs, submittals, schedule updates, time records, supplemental work orders, change order pricing, and general project correspondence.
Daily communication with clients to foster positive relationships and successful outcomes of the projects.
Regular visits to jobsites to evaluate progress and quality to ensure support with the field and client.
Collaborate with the Superintendent and Project Field Staff to prioritize tasks, particularly when addressing scheduling conflicts for labor and equipment.
Conduct regular inspections of all work performed on assigned projects to ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
Develop project expense budgets, revenue forecasts, and profit projections for review.
Provide technical advice to clients and employees involved in assigned projects to ensure successful execution and problem-solving.
Adhere to all applicable regulations and safety standards and contract requirements.
Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent studies and/or experience.
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Project Management.
Strong knowledge of electrical construction industry and codes.
Strong knowledge of electrical materials and methods of installation.
Proficient in construction plan reading and review.
Strong interpersonal relationship skills.
Strong budgeting, forecasting & financial assessment.
Strong Electrical estimating capabilities.
Strong critical thinking skills, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to multi-task in a high volume, and fast-paced work environment.
Highly computer literate, proficient in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, EBM, Foundation, Accubid, etc.
BENEFITS:
Salary Range: $90,000 – $120,000
Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, Voluntary Insurance and 401K with 4% match
