Automotive Technician – Evening Shift (12 PM – 8 PM, Monday through Friday, plus one Saturday per month)

Technician/Inspector-Weekends plus one weekday (Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our growing team for the evening shift. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to work in a dynamic environment, providing top-quality vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be a certified state inspector for Virginia, bringing expertise and professionalism to our service department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards

- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements

- Conduct state inspections for Virginia, ensuring compliance with all regulations

- Maintain accurate and detailed service records for each vehicle

- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and service recommendations

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

- Stay current with industry developments and manufacturer updates

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

- Valid certification as a Virginia State Inspector

- Proven experience as an automotive technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills

- Knowledge of manufacturer and dealership standards

- Ability to work independently and efficiently during evening hours

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work one Saturday shift per month

-Regular and predictable attendance is required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the workday
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and vehicles
