Bartender at Altitude Property Management LLC – Warsaw, Missouri

Location: Sterett Creek Marina

Reports to: Food & Beverage Team Lead & Property Manager

Position Summary

The Bartender at Sterett Creek Marina is responsible for providing exceptional beverage service in a fast-paced, waterfront environment. This role focuses on delivering a friendly guest experience while maintaining responsible alcohol service, cleanliness, and compliance with all applicable laws and marina policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service
• Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, attentive service
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Maintain a welcoming, upbeat atmosphere that reflects the marina lifestyle
• Answer guest questions regarding drink options, specials, and marina amenities

Bar Operations

• Set up, stock, and break down the bar area for each shift
• Accurately process cash and card transactions
• Maintain cleanliness of bar area, including counters, glassware, and equipment
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs

Compliance & Safety

• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Comply with all state and local alcohol laws and marina policies
• Monitor guest consumption and address concerns appropriately
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for guests and coworkers

Team & Facility Support

• Work collaboratively with marina staff and management
• Assist with special events, busy weekends, and seasonal operations
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of basic drink preparation and bar equipment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak season hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Must meet minimum age requirements for serving alcohol
• TABC certification (or willingness to obtain prior to first shift)

• Exposure to weather elements typical of marina operations
