Job Description

Join the Park Opportunity Garden

At Park, we believe a world-class landscape starts from the ground up—and that includes our team. We don’t just offer jobs; we provide a fertile space where you can plant your ambitions and watch them bloom. Our culture is built on a simple philosophy: When we invest in you, you invest in us.

The "Opportunity Garden" Framework

We’ve designed our employee experience around three core pillars to ensure you don’t just work—you flourish:

  • NURTURE: We Get It – We provide a supportive environment built on Integrity & Trust. Your wellbeing is our priority; we focus on Working Safe & Working Smart to create a frictionless environment with the tools you need to succeed without the burnout.

  • GROW: Building Capacity – We don’t leave your career to chance. Through our Employee Success initiative, we provide intentional growth plans, training, and resources to expand your skillset. If you have the ambition, we provide the ladder.

  • THRIVE: You Want It – This is where your "Can-Do" Attitude meets Empowerment. We trust you to be a problem-solver with the autonomy to tackle challenges head-on. We take pride in the tangible "before and after" of our labor.

The Role: Project Coordinator, Commercial Construction

While we provide the environment, we need you to provide the expertise. In this role, you will be the primary bridge between project planning and field execution, supporting the Project Manager in the administrative and operational mastery of commercial landscape construction.

Your Daily Impact:

  • Strategic Planning Support: Assist in managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously, tracking critical path activities, and identifying potential resource constraints before they impact the site.

  • Operational Liaison: Coordinate daily communication between clients, field crews, and vendors, ensuring that site instructions and RFIs are documented and acted upon immediately.

  • Documentation Mastery: Manage the lifecycle of project paperwork—from contracts and purchase orders to change orders and progress draws—maintaining an "audit-ready" digital environment.

  • Procurement Coordination: Lead material takeoffs and delivery schedules, working closely with suppliers to ensure the right materials arrive exactly when they are needed on-site.

  • Financial Tracking: Support budget monitoring by tracking labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring every project remains profitable and well-documented.

  • Winter Readiness: Transition to our snow and ice management coordination team from November through April, adapting your schedule to support client safety during Alberta’s major weather events.

The Essentials for Growth (KSAs)

To truly thrive in this role, you’ll need a solid foundation of skills and the right mindset:

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial construction documentation processes (RFIs, COIs, WCB); familiarity with construction safety standards and contract compliance.

  • Skills: Ability to read and interpret complex site plans and drawings; proficiency in Google Workspace and project scheduling software.

  • Abilities: Minimum 3 years of experience in construction project coordination; ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment; physical agility to navigate active, uneven construction sites during site visits.

Ready to Branch Out? Your Future Starts Here

At Park, we don’t just hire—we plant the seeds for long-term success. If you’re looking for a workplace where your "Can-Do" attitude is rewarded with real opportunity, you’ve found it.

When you join our garden, you’re gaining:

  • Visible Career Paths: Clear milestones for advancement and raises.

  • Innovative Tools: Latest technology to make your job smoother, smarter, and safer.

  • Impactful Work: Pride in the physical transformation of our community.

  • A Culture of Respect: A high-trust environment where your voice is heard.

Park is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive "Opportunity Garden" for all employees.
