Herrmann Ultrasonics is hiring a IT Specialist!

Immerse yourself into the fascinating world of ultrasonic welding! Herrmann Ultrasonics develops and builds machines that join plastics, packaging materials, nonwovens and metals with ultrasonic vibrations. This technology is suitable in many industries, such as medical, electronics, food and automotive. With nearly 700 global employees, based in 4 Headquarters and 22 Tech Centers, we are represented in 20 countries worldwide.

• Provide on-site and remote technical support for end users, resolving hardware, software, and peripheral issues
• Manage employee onboarding/offboarding, including provisioning, tracking, and maintaining end-user devices
• Support implementation of global IT policies, system rollouts, updates, and security standards
• Assist with maintenance of core IT infrastructure, including networks, server rooms, and related equipment
• Participate in local and global IT projects in coordination with central IT teams
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, assets, and configurations
• Serve as liaison for external IT vendors and coordinate on-site service activities

Required skills

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking
• Experience with Windows environments and user account management (e.g., Active Directory)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
