Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Radiology Educator is responsible for providing education, training, and workflow support for radiology technologists and nurses across the department. This hybrid role includes working clinically in imaging rooms parttime while dedicating the remaining portion of the schedule to developing, coordinating, and delivering educational programs. The educator supports staff competency, EPIC training, workflow optimization, policy adherence, and ongoing professional development. This position may also support additional educational needs as identified by departmental leadership Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education• Associate’s degree in nursing OR Radiology required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred(Must be completed within 5 years of hire)
Minimum Work Experience• Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience as a radiology technologist in an acute care or outpatient imaging environment• Experience serving as a preceptor, trainer, or informal educator preferred• Experience with workflow development, process improvement, or onboarding is helpful
Required Licenses[Ohio, United States] Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT Registered Radiographer – Required for Tech• State of Ohio RN Licensure - Required for RN• BLS Certifications required
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of radiology workflows, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in EPIC or similar electronic health record system
• Ability to teach, coach, and mentor technologists with varying levels of experience
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Problemsolving skills and the ability to support staff through workflow challenges
• Adaptability and willingness to support evolving educational needs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with leadership, modality leads, and clinical team
