About This Position

Job Summary :

The Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) Program Liaison plays a critical role in the smooth and efficient operation of the SRS Program.

The SRS Liaison is an experienced administrative professional who supports clinical operations by facilitating efficient care coordination, timely scheduling, and clear communication across the multidisciplinary team. This position requires a highly organized individual with a strong understanding of medical terminology, radiation and radiology procedures, and healthcare administration principles.

Assigned to the SRS program, the liaison serves as the primary point of contact for the programs scheduling appointment coordination.

The SRS Program Liaison acts as a liaison among the Radiation Oncologist, Neurosurgeon, Medical Physicist, Radiation Therapist, Nursing, Radiation Scheduling Coordinators, and other key stakeholders.

They are responsible for coordinating all aspects of SRS scheduling, which may involve multiple resources and complex information gathering to ensure accuracy.

In addition, the SRS Program Liaison manages data and follow-up, communicating with stakeholders verbally, in writing, and electronically. This role requires sound judgment, strong analytical skills, and in depth knowledge of the SRS program to perform diverse administrative duties effectively.

This dedicated role ensures consistency across the SRS program, prevents delays, enhances patient safety, and facilitates clear communication among stakeholders. The SRS Program Liaison plays a vital role in optimizing workflow and improving both clinical outcomes.

Credentials and Qualifications:

Associate's degree

Minimum of one (1) year healthcare experience as a scheduler in a hospital/ clinic setting with

complex scheduling algorithm use required.

* In lieu of Associate's degree an additional 2 years of prior experience for a total of 3 years of prior healthcare experience as a scheduler in a hospital/ clinic setting with complex scheduling algorithm use may be considered.
