About This Role:

The Patient Access Manager (PAM) oversees patient registration, financial counseling, and patient access operations across Evara Health locations. This role ensures a smooth, timely, and accurate registration process while supporting a positive patient experience and alignment with organizational goals. The PAM provides staff guidance and training, monitors quality and performance, and analyzes operations to improve workflows, efficiency, and patient throughput.

What You'll Do:

  • Patient Access Operations & Oversight
    • Oversee daily Patient Access operations, including pre-registration, benefit verification, registration, scheduling, and point-of-service collections.

  • Team Leadership & Development
    • Ensure appropriate staffing and coverage while supervising, coaching, training, and evaluating Patient Access staff.
    • Participate in recruitment, scheduling, performance management, and disciplinary activities while ensuring staff have the knowledge and tools needed to succeed.
  • Patient Experience & Service Quality
    • Model Evara Health customer care standards and ensure staff provide high-quality, professional service that supports patient satisfaction and efficient patient flow.
    • Resolve complex patient and operational concerns independently and escalate significant issues affecting satisfaction, service timeliness, reimbursement, or patient flow.
  • Revenue Cycle & Performance Improvement
    • Direct efforts to improve point-of-service collections, reduce bad debt, and ensure accurate registration and pre-billing processes that support clean claims and reimbursement.
    • Monitor registration edits, denials, scheduling accuracy, and performance against service-level goals; identify deficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Compliance & Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement best practices, policies, procedures, and training to improve Patient Access performance and consistency.
    • Maintain compliance with Evara Health, HIPAA, Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance, state, federal, and accreditation requirements while staying current on applicable regulatory changes.

Why You’ll Love Working Here:
