We are seeking engaging Nurse Practitioner to join our growing Pediatrics' team in Kaufman. As part of the HHM team, you’ll create a welcoming environment and help ensure an exemplary patient experience.
Here's a sneak peek at what you'll do:
- Provide routine/annual exams and sick visits
- Provide preventative screenings and care
- Counsel and educate patients on topics such as chronic diseases and treatment options
- Assist in our mission to provide access to quality care to all
- Perform office-based procedures
- Work with a diverse, underserved patient population in the heart of Dallas
- Share your expertise and best practices to help us become the provider of choice
What you need to succeed
To be a productive member of our team, you will have a pleasant and professional demeanor, be a self-starter, have the ability to work independently, strong communication skills and the ability to preserve confidentiality. You will also have the following:
- BSN and/or NP from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent; current RN or NP license to practice in the state of Texas
- Registered and have current DEA, DPS and other such certificates to legally operate as a practitioner in the State of Texas or be able to obtain
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- Excellent patient engagement and communication skills
- Experience in community health centers and/or non-profits is preferred along with serving multicultural and multilingual patient populations
- Experience with eClinicalWorks or similar
- Strong MS Office Suite skills (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Experience with eCW or similar electronic medical record system
- Have a servant heart with the desire to make a positive impact
- Ability to float to various clinics in DFW area.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
