Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Associate to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in inventory management. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of goods within our e-commerce operations and supporting overall warehouse functionality.

Duties

Receive and unload incoming shipments, verifying the quantity and quality of packages against shipping documents.

Utilize RF scanners to track inventory movements and update stock levels in the MRP system.

Operate pallet jacks to move products safely within the warehouse.

Assist with order picking and preparing items for distribution as needed.

Maintain an organized and clean work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies or issues related to incoming shipments.

Conduct basic math calculations to ensure accurate inventory counts and reporting.

Requirements

Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.

Familiarity with AS400 or similar inventory management systems is a plus.

Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and RF scanners.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

Basic math skills for inventory management tasks.

Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork.
