Group Leader- Wyomissing, PA (1st Shift)
SFS is seeking a Manufacturing Group Leader for our Wyomissing, PA location to join our team. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual who will thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working in collaboration with our professional, supportive and passionate team!

Responsibilities
- Hands on leadership of small team of machine operators to productivity excellence
- Ensure inventory accuracy through proper material handling, documentation, and cycle counts
- Lead with safety in all aspects of machinery operation
- Hiring, training, and retaining employees
- Inspect parts and follow SFS inspection processes for quality
- Support predictive and preventative maintenance process
- Prevents and detects potential quality problems by following the QES (Quality, Environmental, Safety) standards
- Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)
- Data entry of SAP transactions for meeting daily production goals
- Administrative tasks as required- reporting, time keeping, hiring and disciplinary documentation, processing timecards, etc.
- Program PMC controls
- Cleaning machinery, workstation, and other duties as assigned
The Ideal Candidate
- High School Diploma required, associate’s degree preferred
- 2-5 years leading a team, in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. on a regular basis
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Ability to become forklift certified
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
