We’re looking for a detail-driven Accounts Receivable Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping financials accurate and on track.
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by:
- Managing accounts receivable, including receiving and applying payments
- Ensuring timely collections and following up on outstanding balances
- Assisting with billing and invoicing processes
- Supporting bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
- Assisting with sales tax filings and ensuring compliance requirements are met
- Helping with general ledger activities, including posting journal entries
- Maintaining accurate financial records with a high level of data entry precision
- Assisting with month-end close procedures
- Supporting special reports and ad hoc projects as needed
- Performing additional accounting and administrative tasks
We’re looking for someone who is organized, reliable, and detail-oriented:
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience with accounts receivable, collections, billing, and reconciliations
- Familiarity with sales tax processes and compliance (a plus, not required)
- Experience working within a general ledger and posting journal entries
- Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software preferred
- 4+ years of experience in office administration or accounting preferred
