Massage Therapist at LIVunLtd – New York, New York

LIVunLtd is seeking a reliable Spa Artisan (Massage Therapist) to join our growing team! As the Spa Artisan your responsibilities will include delivering excellence in quality Spa services to guests and visitors in a timely, courteous and efficient manner. The Spa Artisan will escort clients to and from treatment rooms and attend to any immediate needs throughout the Spa visit.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Talk with clients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results
• Evaluate clients to locate painful or tense areas of the body
• Manipulate muscles or other soft tissues of the body
• Provide clients with guidance on stretching, strengthening, overall relaxation, and how to improve their posture
• Document clients condition and progress
• Provide a high level of customer service to guests.
• Wear corporate / building approved uniform for each specific LIVunLtd location where you are working.
• Adhere and adapt to all current and new LIVunLtd policies, procedures and initiatives.
• Perform other additional duties and responsibilities specific to the location / building and upon the request of your manager.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous spa experience is preferred.
• Have a valid license or certification
• Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Should be able to solve problems independently and be able to work efficiently without constant supervision.
• Must have superior customer service skills, be enthusiastic and have a high level of attention to detail.

COMPENSATION

The Spa Artisan position with LIVunLtdpays minimum wage in accordance with state minimum wage laws, andper diem at a 35% of service charge.
