Production Laborer – 2nd Shift (Training on 1st Shift)

Standard Bent Glass is a leader in custom bent and specialty glass manufacturing. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and help produce high-quality products used in industries ranging from architecture to transportation.

Position Summary:
We are seeking dependable and hardworking Production Laborers to assist in the production process. This is a hands-on position in a manufacturing environment with opportunities to learn specialized skills in glass handling, fabrication, and finishing.

Shift Information:

· This position trains on first shift then moves to 2nd shift.

· Training Schedule: to start as soon as possible- 1st shift – 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, OT Friday

· Regular Schedule (after training): 2nd shift – 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Monday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

· Handle, cut, and prepare glass for bending and finishing.

· Operate machinery and tools under supervision.

· Inspect glass for quality, accuracy, and defects.

· Load and unload glass materials safely.

· Maintain a clean and safe work area.

· Follow company safety standards and production procedures.

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· Prior manufacturing or labor experience helpful but not required (training provided).

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

· Strong attention to detail and safety.

· Reliable and able to work as part of a team.
