2nd Shift Warehouse Lead at nelsen corporation – Medina, Ohio

Nelsen Corporation is seeking a motivated, positive team member who is driven to succeed as our new Warehouse Lead! The Warehouse Lead is a crucial member of the team, acting as a role model and coach to assist with the development and direction of their team. This is a hands-on position in the warehouse.

Work Location, Shift and Hours: 5151 Portside Dr., Medina, OH 44256, near I-71 and Route 18; Monday-Friday, 2:00PM-10:30PM, with opportunity for overtime. First 4 weeks of employment will require training on 1st shift, with transition to 2nd shift.

Pay: $24.50 per hour, plus additional $1.50 per hour shift premium

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Processing Orders

Understand software system/pick ticket processKnow how to research pick tickets, pick & holds, and production ticketsEnsure order accuracy and proper packing and shipping methods of items for shipmentEnsure accurate receiving procedures and proper labeling and storage of incoming products and materialsUnderstand and work on the Open Order Report dailyLeadership and People Development

Partner with Operations Manager for daily plan, employee communications, opening and closing of the facilityObserve and build relationships with each team member to identify strengths and opportunities for developmentAct as primary mentor for training and onboarding new Warehouse Team MembersPartner with Operations Manager to execute ongoing cross-training planAdditional Duties as Assigned

Participate in inventory cycle counts, understand variances and reconciliation processEnsure routine housekeeping and maintenance duties are completedOrder supplies as neededEnsure adherence to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting unsafe conditionsOther duties as needed per branch locationQualifications and Competencies
