Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the ICU/PCU department. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: The nursing team at Citizens Memorial Hospital—Intensive Care/ Progressive Care Unit strive to SERVE in the care we provide to patients, families and each other. We strive to make a difference each day and promote a positive, team-driven attitude.

A typical day includes: the ICU/PCU department consists of 8 ICU beds and 8 PCU beds. Our patient ratios are outstanding, and safe staffing is a priority. In the ICU you will care for 1:2-3 patients, and on telemetry, 1:4-5 depending on acuity. We have a clerk and CNAs to help support and care for our patients. We live by the mantra “happy nurses provide better care.”

Job Requirements:

• Education: Associates degree or Bachelors degree
• Experience: Patient care
• Skills: Communication, multitasking
• License: RN
• Physical: the ability to stand for long periods and to thrive in a fast-paced environment
