Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pipefitter to join our team. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used to transport water, steam, chemicals, fuel, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and specifications

  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, and assemble pipes using hand and power tools

  • Install piping systems according to project requirements and industry standards

  • Perform layout, fitting, and alignment of pipe runs

  • Conduct pressure testing and inspections to ensure system integrity

  • Troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems

  • Work with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and PVC

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations

  • Collaborate with welders, supervisors, and other trades as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Pipefitter (industrial, commercial, or mechanical)

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings

  • Strong knowledge of piping systems, fittings, valves, and supports

  • Experience with measuring, rigging, and installation techniques

  • OSHA certification preferred (OSHA 10 or 30)

  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check

  • Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various environments

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with high-pressure or high-temperature piping systems

  • Knowledge of pipe codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, etc.)

  • Welding or tacking experience is a plus

  • Industrial or refinery experience preferred

Work Environment

  • May involve indoor and outdoor work

  • Exposure to heat, cold, confined spaces, and elevated work areas

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required
