Job Description

Position Description: Job Summary

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to take ownership of full-cycle accounting and month-end close for a complex, multi-entity, multi-family real estate, construction, and HOA portfolio. This is a hands-on role within a family-owned business that values accountability and collaboration. The position manages a high volume of intercompany transactions and offers growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the month end close process for multiple entities
Perform multi-entity accounting, including a high volume of intercompany transactions and reconciliations
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, general ledger activity, and balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee cash management, cash flow analysis, and forecasting
Coordinate quarterly and annual lender reporting requirements
Serve as primary liaison with the Corporate CPA
Oversee 1099 preparation, review, and filing compliance
Supervise, mentor, and develop 12 accounting team members
Partner with ownership and property management to support financial reporting and operational decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Accounting
Experience with QuickBooks (required); experience with RealPage, AppFolio, or Yardi is preferred
8+ years of accounting experience in construction or multi-family property management
Experience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactions
