POSITION SUMMARY
Aleut is seeking an Instructor/Developer to work with USSF Delta 1 to develop the online component of the USSF Civilian Guardian Course. The mission of the Civilian Guardian Course (CGC) is to serve as the foundational developmental experience for new USSF Civilian Guardians. It is designed to accelerate their transformation into mission-focused professionals, providing the operational stability, unit continuity, and depth of expertise necessary to support Joint Warfighting functions and U.S. National Security. We are looking for candidates who have experience in the United States Federal Civil Service, preferably in the United States Air Force or United States Space Force Civilian Service with a background as an instructor and with Instructional Systems Design (ISD) to finalize course training objectives and course design, build online lesson content, exercises, case studies, testing, feedback mechanisms, and associated content for the online component of USSF Delta 1 CGC consistent with ISD theory while satisfying government training requirements.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Provide Subject Matter Expert (SME) input for content development of CGC domains (doctrine, identity, career development).
- Support online curriculum development and validation by writing storyboards, editing, and organizing content to fit the target audience and student educational levels for adult learners.
- Support development of student feedback and assist Government in evaluating student performance.
- Recommend course improvements based on execution.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Note: this position is not currently tasked with providing instruction to the CGC. Future modifications to the contract may require course instruction in addition to the current course support activities listed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- The position will be accomplished remotely from home.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to perform repetitive keyboard tasks and associated motions for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to carry up to 10 pounds.
SALARY RANGE
- $120,000 -- $150,000 (annual) depending on qualifications

REQUIERMENTS:
- REQUIED EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of related experience.
- EXPERIENCE: At least six years’ experience in USAF/USSF/DoD Civilian employment operations. Experience in instruction and curriculum development using ISD processes. Graduate of DoD recognized formal instructor course preferred.
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Must be eligible for an active Sensitive clearance.
- AVAILABILITY: Must be eligible to start on or about 25 April 2026
