We are seeking a detail-oriented Royalty Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, reviewing, and issuing accurate and timely royalty statements to artists, producers, and other parties. As well as applying contract terms to advances, royalty payments and royalty calculations. The position works cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners.

Prepare and issuetimelyroyalty statements and related support filesReview contracts andmaintainpayee setup in the royalty systemAnalyze sales data prior to interfacing into the royalty systemPost expenses, fees, deductions, and reservesin accordance withcontract termsPerform initial and final reviews of royalty statements to ensure accuracyPrepare manual statements and adjustments whenrequiredProcess new contracts, amendments, advances, and payment requestsEnsure compliance with U.S. and foreign tax withholding and reporting requirementsRespond to royalty recipient inquiries and prepare ad hoc analysesPartner with internal teams to research and resolve discrepanciesWhat You’ll Bring

5+ years of experience with royalty contracts, statement preparation, and accountingMusic royalty experience (Artist and Mechanical) preferredExperience with Royalty Share or similar royalty platforms a plusBachelor’s degree in accounting or financepreferred
