Special Projects Manager

Primary function
The Special Projects Manager will oversee the scope, budget, and labor for client and internal projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent organizational skills,
and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This person will represent Good Company as
the in-between for Account Management and Operations. Although we work as a team, the Special
Projects Manager will report directly to the COM and will work very closely with the Operations manager
and Director of Relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and manage project plans, including defining project scope, objectives, timelines, and
deliverables.
● Perform time studies to assist Account Managers and Operations Manager in the quoting
process.
● Monitor and manage project budgets according to quotes.
● Coordinate with the Operations Manager to allocate resources including personnel, equipment,
materials and space.
● Create processes used in these short term projects, documenting them and lessons learned for
future use.
● Oversee labor, being physically present when work is taking place in order to streamline
processes and increase efficiency.
● Track project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders and in our project
management system.
● Document project plans, processes and progress daily in our project management system.
● Provide full project transparency for all of Good Company.
● Hold retrospectives to assess lessons learned and add to our knowledge database.
KPI’s:
● Percent of projects completed on time
● Team performance and productivity (labor quoted vs actual)
● Reporting and communication
● Number of projects managed simultaneously and success rate.

- No disciplinary action passed a verbal warning in the last 6 months
- No verbal or written warnings regarding attendance in the last 6 months
