Living City Farms is a small-scale regenerative farm rooted in Northeast Ohio. We grow fresh, nutrient-dense produce with a focus on healing the land and restoring our connection to the natural world. Through diverse vegetable production and the establishment of native fruits, we work to nourish living soil, steward healthy ecosystems, and invite people back into a deeper relationship with food, land, and community.
The Role
We’re looking for a Wholesale Partnerships Representative to help expand Living City Farms’ reach across Northeast Ohio.
This is a relationship-first sales role focused on connecting grocery stores, restaurants, specialty retailers, and food buyers with fresh, locally grown food.
You’ll be the bridge between our farm and the community, building partnerships that grow both revenue and impact.
What You’ll Do
- Develop new wholesale accounts with restaurants, grocers, and food retailers
- Build strong, lasting relationships with buyers and chefs
- Share product offerings, seasonal availability, and our farm story
- Support onboarding and smooth ordering for new customers
- Collaborate with farm operations on supply and harvest planning
- Gather customer feedback to help shape future production
- Represent the farm at meetings, events, and occasional markets
What You Bring
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Sales, hospitality, or account management experience (preferred)
- Interest in local food systems and regenerative agriculture
- Ability to organize, follow through, and manage relationships
- Basic comfort with digital tools (email, spreadsheets, CRM systems)
- Local travel ability and reliable transportation
- Existing food industry connections in Northeast Ohio is a plus
Compensation & Structure
- 1099 independent contractor role
- $18/hour base pay
- 5% commission on new account sales
- Performance bonuses for major account wins
- 10 hours/week, flexible schedule
