Qualifications
Required
BSN required
At least 2 3 years leadership/charge/preceptor experience as a Registered Nurse
Strong communication organizational skills and presentation skills
Preferred
MSN highly preferred
Previous experience as a nursing director is preferred
National Board Certification
Certifications and Licenses Required
BLS ACLS and PALS certification
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
Scheduling Requirements
Night Shift 40 hours per week
Full Time
On Call Leadership Coverage
Essential Functions
Provides leadership and direction in order to fulfill the goals and objectives of the unit organization,
Effectively communicates information to staff utilizes resources and manages staff and services,
Assists the Director with the daily operations of the unit and delegated responsibilities,
Will be assigned up to 50 percent of patient care responsibilities,
Collaboratively prepares and maintains staff schedule and payroll,
Requirements Qualifications
Active valid NJ Registered Nurse License required
BSN required
MSN preferred
Basic Life Support BLS through the American Heart Association AHA required
ACLS required
2 years of nursing experience required
Management experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
