Job Description
WHO WE ARE:
Palisociety is a society of unique hotels and residences — Palihouse, Palihotel, Le Petit Pali, ARRIVE by Palisociety, and a growing collection of independently branded properties. Since our first hotel opened in Los Angeles in 2009, we've grown into a nationwide portfolio of neighborhood-centric hotels, restaurants, bars, and event spaces, earning recognition from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, the New York Times, and more.
We consider our employees our greatest asset: structured training from day one, consistent feedback, and a clear path for growth. We develop our leaders from within, because the strongest hospitality companies are the ones that grow their own.
ABOUT LE PETIT PALI BRENTWOOD:
Le Petit Pali Brentwood is a 25-room inn offering bespoke lodging, layered with genuine charm, comfort, and unexpected luxury. We are conveniently situated on Sunset Blvd, a 10-minute drive from the Santa Monica Pier and Santa Monica State Beach, nestled in the heart of Brentwood, an inviting and coveted neighborhood on the west side of Los Angeles.
POSITION PROFILE:
In a 25-room inn, every guest interaction and every detail is yours to shape. The Hotel Manager is the driving force behind day-to-day operations at Le Petit Pali Brentwood, overseeing Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering, and Guest Services as one cohesive team. You'll balance hands-on execution with disciplined cost control and a relentless focus on the guest experience, with real influence over how this property runs and grows.
THE TASK AT HAND:
Maintain effective training programs across Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Engineering, ensuring every team member is highly productive.
Create and monitor department schedules weekly to meet budget and hold regular team meetings across all departments.
Ensure full compliance with brand SOPs, approved scripts, and service standards during check-in and every guest interaction, including accurate billing and night audits.
Own the guest experience — respond to complaints, ensure service recovery, and encourage positive online reviews.
Oversee daily room and property inspections, partnering with Housekeeping and Engineering on linen quality, par levels, and preventative maintenance.
Manage wages, controllable expenses, inventories, and departmental financial performance against budget.
Give the brand a voice, translating a genuine passion for Le Petit Pali into a memorable experience for guests and team members alike.
Lead by example, fostering an open, respectful team culture with a true open-door policy.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Required
Minimum 2–3 years of hotel leadership experience, preferably at a boutique or lifestyle property.
Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
Clear communicator with sound judgment, able to remain calm and resolve problems under pressure.
Proficiency in Opera or similar property management systems.
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physical
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:
Competitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus 401(k).
Paid time off, holiday pay, and sick pay.
Career advancement and professional development as we open new hotels and restaurants nationwide.
Employee discounts across our entire portfolio (25 hotels and more to come!).
MORE ABOUT US:
We're a family business, founded in Los Angeles by CEO Avi Brosh in 1998. As we keep growing and opening new hotels and restaurants, we're always looking for spirited, hardworking, passionate people who want to join our team and grow with us!
