1st Shift Shipping and Receiving Clerk in Lexington, Kentucky at Blue Star Plastics

Position Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk must be able to work in a team environment and follow instructions. The candidate should possess strong organizational skills and pay close attention to detail. Time management is key to this position.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for shipments, verify quantities shipped and part numbers with customer releases.
• Scan shipments into IQMS and input into Customer Systems accurately.
• Moving products into their appropriate locations.
• Using IQRF to control inventory being moved.
• Scanning and sorting the incoming and outgoing stacks.
• Maintains an accurate log sheet of counted/scanned inventory.
• Pulling, packing, and loading.
• Use a Forklift preferred.
• Ability to work independently and within a group.
• Assist in warehouse duties when needed.

Job Skill Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical Requirements, Medium work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and move across uneven surfaces. Ability to stand most of the shift.
• Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively.
• Basic computer skills.
