Job Description
Why this role matters
Anchor is growing, and we're hiring the person who will lead how we win new clients. You'll take opportunities from first conversation to signed agreement — following up on marketing leads, prospecting directly, running discovery, writing the proposal and closing the deal. You'll be coached by our outsourced sales management partner, work closely with our marketing partner, and have a clear path to grow into leading Anchor's sales team.
Who we are
Anchor Network Solutions is a managed service provider (MSP) with offices in Englewood, Colorado and Colby, Kansas. Our purpose is removing technology burdens with expert solutions and great service. We bring big-company technology and security to small and mid-sized businesses, and three things set us apart:
- Hospitality-grade customer service
- Predictable results through a technology and security roadmap
- Dedicated AI and compliance consulting
We stand behind our work with a 100% money-back guarantee — something you'll appreciate when you're the one making the promise.
Anchor runs on EOS, the Entrepreneurial Operating System. For you, that means clear goals, a weekly meeting rhythm, quarterly conversations with your manager, and no guessing about how you're measured.
See how we do things: The Anchored Way
Our core values
We hire, review and recognize people on five core values. This is you if:
- Own It — You own your pipeline. You follow up when you said you would, and you don't blame the lead list.
- Question Why — You ask the second and third question in discovery, and you don't settle for “that's how we've always sold it.”
- Company Before Team & Team Before Self — You'll walk away from a deal that isn't right for Anchor, and you hand new clients to our delivery team set up to succeed, not just signed.
- Relationships Are Everything — You listen more than you pitch, and you build trust with prospects, partners and coworkers that lasts well past the signature.
- Optimistic By Nature — A “no” doesn't ruin your day. You stay coachable and confident that the next conversation could be the one.
If you read this list and found yourself nodding, we want to talk to you.
What you'll do
- Follow up fast on every marketing lead — campaigns, webinars, website inquiries and events.
- Prospect directly to business owners and decision makers through calls, email, LinkedIn, networking events, chambers and associations.
- Run discovery to understand a prospect's business, technology and security pain points.
- Write clear, accurate proposals and lead each deal through negotiation to a signed agreement.
- Own the pipeline in HubSpot and lead our weekly sales meeting with our sales management partner.
- Help build Anchor's sales playbook, and give marketing the feedback that sharpens our campaigns.
- Hand every new client to our Client Success team set up for a great start.
What success looks like
- First 90 days: You know our services, pricing and sales process, you've shadowed leadership on discovery calls and proposals, and you own follow-up on every marketing lead.
- By month 6: You're writing proposals and closing deals on your own.
- Within 10–15 months: You're carrying Anchor's new-client sales day to day and consistently signing clients who fit our target market.
