County Market Delivery Driver in Hannibal, Missouri at Niemann Foods

SUMMARY

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of goods to customers/stores. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and strict adherence to safety and driving regulations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITEIS

• Load, transport, and deliver goods to customers/stores in a safe and timely manner
• Follow assigned routes and time schedules
• Ensure orders are complete, properly packaged, and meet quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive company image
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and stores delivering too
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Other duties as assigned

KEY ATTRIBUTES

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to operate delivery vehicles (car, van, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be 18 years or older
• Neat & Professional appearance
• High energy level
• Honesty and integrity

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• No prior experience or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

• Basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication)
