Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Commercial Inside Sales Representative
to join our B2B sales team. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with door and
dock equipment — including commercial doors, dock levelers, dock seals/shelters,
vehicle restraints, and related building products — and understands the service, repair,
and replacement side of the industry. This is a warm-lead, relationship-driven role
focused on managing inbound sales activity, building customer relationships, generating
quotes, and closing deals. There is no outside sales team for this role — the Inside
Sales Representative owns the customer relationship from first contact through close.
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound B2B sales calls and emails, qualifying leads and identifying
- customer needs related to door and dock equipment repair, replacement, or
- upgrades
- Nurture and grow relationships with existing customers and warm leads to
- generate repeat and expanded business
- Prepare accurate price quotes and proposals for repairs, replacement parts, equipment upgrades, and preventive maintenance agreements
- Process and track orders from quote through fulfillment, ensuring accurate entry of specifications, pricing, and delivery timelines
- Build and maintain strong relationships with facility managers, property managers, and existing commercial accounts
- Follow up on open quotes to drive conversion and close sales
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotes, and orders in the CRM/service management system
- Resolve customer issues related to orders, product fit, or service scheduling in a timely, professional manner
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in door and dock equipment sales (commercial doors, dock levelers, dock seals/shelters, vehicle restraints, or related building products) required
- Experience working with manufacturers or distributors of overhead doors, dock equipment, or loading dock systems
- Excellent phone, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotes and orders simultaneously
- Experience using ServiceTitan preferred
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced sales environment
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday availability from 7 AM to 6 PM
