The Opportunity
PTL ONE is an established distributor and brand owner serving hotels, resorts, airports, attractions, cruise lines, specialty retailers, and other B2B customers across North America and internationally. Our portfolio spans thousands of products and multiple categories, including suncare, eyewear, electronics, travel essentials, snacks, remedies, and more.
After more than 43 years of relationship-driven, largely organic growth, we are ready to build a modern marketing engine. We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Director who can define the strategy, raise the standard of execution, and give PTL ONE a clear, consistent, enterprise-quality presence in the market.
This is a builder role for an energetic leader who can move from the owners’ vision to a practical plan—and then lead designers, partners, and internal teams through execution. It is not a social-media-only or campaign-coordinator position.
Your Mission
Build and lead a high-performing marketing function that clearly communicates who PTL ONE is, what we stand for, and how we help business customers save time, grow revenue, and simplify purchasing.
What You Will Own
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Create and protect a differentiated PTL ONE brand, voice, and visual system across every customer touchpoint.
- Translate ownership’s vision and company values into a focused annual strategy, quarterly priorities, budgets, and measurable programs.
- Clarify value propositions and messaging for new customers, existing customers, vendor partners, and distinct market segments.
Integrated Marketing & Demand Generation
- Build campaigns that create awareness, qualified opportunities, and measurablepipelineacross digital and offline channels.
- Lead email strategy, segmentation, newsletters, automated journeys, product launches, promotions, and nurture campaigns.
- Own PTL ONE’s presence across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and relevant emerging channels.
- Guidewebsite strategy, SEO, landing pages, educational content, sales collateral, video, case studies, and customer stories.
- AI Search Visibility (GEO/AEO):Develop and implement a Generative Engine Optimization strategy that positions PTL ONE to be discovered, cited, and recommended by ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI, and other AI-powered search platforms when businesses research wholesale distributors, products, and suppliers.
Trade Shows & Market Presence
- Own the end-to-end marketing experience for trade shows: pre-show promotion, booth design, product presentation, sales tools, onsite brand standards, and post-show follow-up.
- Create a clean, organized, Fortune 500-quality presence that makes PTL ONE memorable and gives the sales team confidence.
Creative & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead and develop designers and coordinate photographers, videographers, agencies, writers, developers, printers, and other partners.
- Set clear briefs, timelines, quality standards, and accountability so work stays on brand, on time, and on budget.
- Partner closely with ownership, sales, customer service,purchasing, and operations; navigate different personalities with confidence and respect.
Marketing Operations & Analytics
- Establish the marketing calendar, project-management rhythm, approval process, asset library, and reporting discipline.
- Implement and improve CRM, email, automation, analytics, and attribution tools that support scalable growth.
- Use performance data to prioritize investments, improve execution, and communicate results to leadership.

What You Bring
- 7+ years of progressive B2B marketing experience, including meaningful leadership responsibility.
- Required experience in CPG, wholesale distribution, consumer products, or a closely related B2B trade environment.
- A record of building marketing strategy and translating company vision into action—not simply executing assigned tasks.
- Experience leading designers and managing creative agencies, contractors, and production partners.
- Hands-on success with brand positioning, email marketing, social strategy, websites, content, CRM, marketing automation, and analytics.
- Direct experience planning and executing trade shows and customer-facing events.
- Strong project leadership, communication, budgeting, prioritization, and accountability skills.
- A portfolio or examples thatdemonstratestrategic thinking and a high bar for creative execution.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range of $100,000–$250,000+, calibrated to experience, leadership level, and scope.
- Performance bonus tied to agreedcompany-growthandmarketing-impactgoals.
