Salary: $125,000–$150,000 annually

Momentum Senior Living is seeking an experienced, hands-on Regional Director of Human Resources to support our growing portfolio of Assisted Living and Memory Care communities across four states, representing approximately 1,000 employees.

Reporting directly to our Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), this position serves as the day-to-day HR leader for our communities, partnering with Executive Directors, department heads, and onsite HR and Business Office teams.

We're looking for someone who understands the pace of 24/7 senior living operations, communicates exceptionally well, embraces technology, and can independently manage HR challenges while helping build and improve processes as we grow.

• Regional HR Support: Serve as the primary HR resource for community leadership, providing timely guidance, coaching, and practical solutions.
• Employee Relations: Independently manage investigations, performance concerns, corrective actions, and workplace issues.
• HR Operations: Partner with our HR Generalist to oversee benefits administration, workers' compensation, leaves of absence, and employee lifecycle processes.
• Compliance & Training: Conduct HR audits, support multi-state employment law compliance, and train Executive Directors and department leaders.
• Community Partnership: Travel approximately 25% to communities to provide hands-on HR support and leadership development.
• Systems & Communication: Utilize Paylocity or comparable HRIS platforms, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Excel to maintain accurate records, manage priorities, and ensure responsive follow-through.

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including direct experience in senior living, skilled nursing, or comparable 24/7 healthcare operations.
• Multi-site HR leadership experience supporting hourly, shift-based employees across AM, PM, NOC, weekend, and holiday operations.
• Strong California employment law knowledge; multi-state HR experience preferred.
• Proven ability to independently handle employee investigations, employee relations, and operational HR matters.
• Excellent communication, organizational, technology, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a growing organization where systems and processes continue to evolve.
• Ability to work onsite in Laguna Niguel and travel approximately 25%.
