Foundry Mold/Ram Crew in Bay City, Michigan at Bay Cast Technologies LLC

Bay Cast Inc. currently has open positions for a Molders and Rammers on 1st & 3rd shift. Competitive compensation based on experience and skillset. 3rd shift receives a shift premium. These are hands on positions that do not require foundry specific experience.

Molders/Rammers will be responsible for forming sand to fabricate metal casting using patterns.

Duties will include:

• Painting/washing molds
• Sifting sand
• Compacting sand around pattern contours, and removing patterns.
• Use of power tools, forklift and overhead cranes

• Follow established safety procedures according to OSHA standards and company procedures
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Experience with power tools is a plus.
• Use of a tape measure and reading of simple visual set-up drawings.
• Building experience is a plus.
• Any type of manufacturing experience is helpful.
• Good attendance is required. Must be able to work during assigned work hours.
• Willingness to learn.
