Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Supply Room Supervisor for a full-time, on-site position in Mocksville, NC. The Supply Room Supervisor requires strong operational understanding and close partnership with Maintenance to ensure the availability and proper management of critical spare parts. Will oversee the organization and management of the supply room, coordinate inventory, ensure efficient stocking of supplies, and maintain accurate records. The role also involves supervising supply room staff, training new team members, monitoring compliance with company procedures, and providing exceptional customer service to internal team members and departments to fulfill supply-related needs effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Close partnership with Maintenance to identify, manage, and maintain critical spare parts.
- Ownership of inventory accuracy, including cycle counting discipline, discrepancy resolution, and governance of SAP transactions
- Oversight of receiving, issuing, storage, labeling, and bin location management to ensure traceability and ease of access
- Coordination with Purchasing, Maintenance, Production, and Planning to support production needs and prevent material‑related downtime
- Monitoring open POs, shortages, and critical items, escalating risks proactively before they impact operations
- Enforcing access control, housekeeping standards, and safety compliance within the supply room
- Training, coaching, and supporting supply room personnel to ensure consistency, accountability, and performance
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and sustaining gains already achieved in inventory and process control
What you'll bring?
- Manufacturing maintenance background (Plus)
- Strong knowledge of industrial machinery spare parts and equipment components (Required)
- Experience in Manufacturing or similar industries (Required)
- Strong Supervisory Skills, including team leadership and effective delegation
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service abilities for working with internal departments and teams
- Ability to oversee Training initiatives, ensuring team members are knowledgeable and well-prepared
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and basic computer applications (Microsoft Office)
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are an advantage

Salary Range:
$70,000 - $80,000 a year
