Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (hours may vary based on operational needs)

What You’ll DoAs a Mill Superintendent, you will provide leadership and oversight for all milling and elevator operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant production while maximizing wheat yields and operational performance.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading all milling and elevator operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production
- Providing strategic direction and operational oversight for department activities
- Hiring, training, coaching, and developing milling and elevator employees
- Ensuring compliance with GMPs, OSHA, HACCP, FSMA, GFSI, sanitation requirements, and company safety programs
- Maintaining an everyday audit-ready facility and promoting a strong food safety culture
- Leading safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and corporate EHS programs
- Managing equipment inventories to support preventative maintenance programs and operational reliability
- Serving as an active member of the facility Food Safety Team
- Maintaining master sanitation schedules and SOPs related to milling and elevator operations
- Developing and implementing best practices for the handling, blending, storage, and transfer of wheat and flour
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, quality, and operational performance
- Collaborating across departments and engaging team members in problem-solving and process improvements
- Using Mennel’s Mission, Quality, and Safety Statements as guiding principles in decision-making
- Performing other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Milling Science, Food Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred
- 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in grain handling, milling, food manufacturing, or industrial operations
- Proven ability to lead teams and improve operational performance in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
- Demonstrated project management and analytical problem-solving ability
- Ability to influence and collaborate across departments and organizational levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn industry-specific software systems
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test and perform job duties while wearing a respirator
