Coastal Kids Home Care is a pediatric licensed home health agency. Come develop excellent skills, feel appreciated every day, you don't work short-staffed or feel like you've been run over by a truck at the end of a shift - 1:1 training in the home with an experienced nurse, safe and paid at full rate. San Jose 95111 – 8-month-old baby boy with a primary diagnosis of extreme low birth weight, prematurity of newborn, and chronic lung disease that is gtube dependent. Nurses responsibilities include providing all ADLs, administering all feedings and medications via gtube as ordered, along with any pulmonary care as ordered. Needing day shift Monday, Tuesday AND Thursday 8am-4pm
San Jose 95136 – 14-year-old little girl with a primary diagnosis of Dravet syndrome with history of seizures that is gtube dependent. Nurses responsibilities include providing all ADLS, administering medications and feedings via gtube as ordered and providing any pulmonary care as ordered. Needing PART TIME evenings 3pm-9pm and Saturday 8am-4pm.
San Jose 95127 – 3-year-old little girl with a primary diagnosis of Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy, seizure disorder that is gtube dependent. Nurses responsibilities include providing all ADLs, administering feedings and medications via oral and gtube route as ordered and providing pulmonary care as order which may include oral suctioning, breathing treatments and cough assist with vest treatments. Needing PART TIME Friday, Saturday AND Sunday 8am-4pm
All training is done by placing you in the home with a trained nurse and learning 1:1 with full pay. Full time is considered 30+ hours a week. We take all major holidays off! Apply for more information.
Qualifications
- LVN license in the state of California
- Proficiency in basic life support and patient care
- Ability to assess and provide nursing care to pediatric patients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
- Willingness to work in home health settings
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home setting, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs, administering basic life support as needed.
- Manage tube feeding, and medication administration, while maintaining accurate electronic health records.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and caregivers on health management and safety practices.

The pay range for this role is:
39 - 42 USD per hour(Santa Clara County)
