The Connector Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality integration solutions that enable reliable data exchange between the platform and external systems. This role requires strong technical ownership, attention to data security, and the ability to solve complex connectivity challenges.
- Design, build, and maintain software connectors that integrate with APIs, databases, and third-party enterprise platforms.
- Research external systems and APIs to develop creative solutions for data extraction and integration, including working with limited documentation.
- Implement secure and reliable API connectivity, including authentication, version management, and compatibility handling.
- Develop solutions using REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and other integration technologies to support seamless interoperability.
- Transform and map data formats such as JSON, XML, and CSV to ensure compatibility between systems.
- Apply strong software engineering principles related to algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
- Monitor connector performance, improve scalability, and maintain reliability as external systems evolve.
- Troubleshoot production integration issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve connectivity challenges.
- Support enterprise integration requirements, including identity and access management systems such as SSO and identity providers.
- Document connector architecture, functionality, and usage guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with remote engineering teams to deliver maintainable and scalable solutions.

- 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining software connectors, integrations, or similar solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Go programming language.
- Experience working with APIs, including REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Solid understanding of data transformation, mapping, schema design, and interoperability concepts.
- Knowledge of API authentication methods, versioning strategies, and secure integration practices.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, distributed systems, and networking.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues and debugging connectivity problems.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, including SSO and identity provider solutions such as Okta or similar platforms.
- Detail-oriented and test-driven approach with a strong focus on data security and permissions management.
- Ability to research unfamiliar technologies and develop practical solutions independently.
