ABOUT THIS POSITION

Legacy-Power is seeking a Project Manager to move projects from evaluation to completion through some of the area’s most exciting building projects in the Northeast. As a Project Manager, you will bring technical expertise, enthusiasm, and energy to your work, building long-lasting relationships alongside a team of construction professionals. You will be an integral member of the team, contributing to the daily success of our projects and ensuring all administrative and contractual requirements are met while achieving the safety, budget, and schedule goals of one of the largest commercial and industrial solar EPC firms in the Northeast.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Manage health and safety, and environmental compliance of all assigned projects.
  • Lead all project documentation including financial, forecasting, permits, invoicing, contract, pay applications, and owner's manual.
  • Oversee and coordinate project milestones and ensure contractors, vendors, and sub-contractors adhere to strict guidelines and procedures.
  • Develop and manage a schedule and scope of work in alignment with contract agreements.
  • Manage the project budget, schedule, change orders, and client expectations.
  • Proactively initiate RFIs, submittals, document control, and compliance.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance.
  • Drive quality and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives. Closely monitor project progress, Scope of work, and construction quality.
  • Effectively manage communication between all project stakeholders.
  • Assist with managing equipment logistics in accordance with project schedules.
  • Review and verifies accuracy of invoices received for all projects.
  • Manage the planning and execution of all assigned projects.
  • Liaise with project goals and ensure project goals are achievable.
  • Manage the client and vendor relationships.
  • Manage PWA and union ratio's at site.
  • Lead and sign off on procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.
Requirements:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate for this position will:

  • Solar industry specific field testing and project closeout documentation
  • Conduct site visits at least twice a month
  • Must be able to read and understand Civil, Electrical, and mechanical drawing at all phases.
  • Must be familiar with electrical code
  • High-pressure environment- sense of urgency
  • Organized with an eye for detail
  • Risk management
  • Advanced scheduling, planning, and document control skills
  • Experienced with Microsoft platforms including TEAMs and Projects
  • 5+ year relevant project management experience
  • 3+ years of solar experience
  • Valid driver license
  • OSHA 10 required/30 preferred
  • NABCEP Certification preferred
