We serve individuals between the ages of 3 and 65, helping them achieve greater independence in all aspects of their lives.

We're searching for candidates who are experienced, passionate, and eager to contribute to our mission.
As a Skills Trainer for Wilmington/Lexington/Watertown, MA areas , you will play a vital role in providing individuals with the guidance and tools they need to enhance their daily living skills and achieve greater independence. Your responsibilities will include:

+Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, hygiene, household maintenance, food shopping, meal preparation, budgeting, and social skills development.
+Providing ongoing support, role modeling, and guidance in improving personal responsibility, community living skills, and socialization.
+Facilitating leisure activities and encouraging engagement in social and recreational activities.
+Transporting individuals to appointments, work, and recreational outings
Documenting daily notes on program participants' progress and any changes
+Attending review meetings, trainings, and other related appointments as required
+Other duties as required.

Requirements:
Car and valid driver's license (you will be taking individuals into the community in personal vehicles; mileage reimbursement provided). Clean driving record. Ability to pass a CORI check. Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to helping others. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time. Must be able to be on feet and on-the-go for hours at a time, including accompanying clients for walks and other activities.
Must be comfortable driving clients to and from places, as needed.

Work Hours:
For this role specifically, we are seeking candidates who are available to work a full-time schedule for Wilmington/Lexington/Watertown, MA areas. We are open Monday thru Sunday 9am-7pm, so ample opportunity for a schedule to be crafted within that, including unconventional hours.This isn't a typical 9-5. It's better! Ideal schedule for this specific role is Sunday thru Thursday--but open to other shifts as needed.
