Reports to: Executive Vice President
Position Overview: The HR Intern will provide essential support to the HR department by assisting with administrative tasks related to timecard corrections, employee relations, HR paperwork, and digitization. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn about various HR functions and gain hands-on experience in an HR environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support:
- Assist with posting job ads on various platforms and tracking candidate applications.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and handle communication with applicants.
Administrative Support:
- Assist with updating and maintaining the HR Confluence page for documentation.
- Help manage HR-related paperwork, including employee forms and records.
- Provide support with data entry and document digitization efforts.
- Coordinate company training sessions and maintain training records.
- Assist in planning and executing company events.
- Provide general administrative assistance as needed across various HR projects.
Onboarding Support:
- Help prepare onboarding materials for new hires.
- Assist with ensuring all HR paperwork for new employees is completed in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence, Jira, or similar.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow within the HR field.
