- Equip and provide accountability to ministry leaders around volunteer recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention while maintaining clear ownership within each ministry.
- Regularly evaluate ministry volunteer structures, including roles, leadership layers, onboarding practices, and training processes, and help leaders address gaps or opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and facilitate church-wide training, tools, and frameworks that equip staff and volunteer leaders to effectively recruit, onboard, develop, and retain volunteers.
- Help ministries identify opportunities to better align volunteers with their gifts and strengths and develop high-capacity volunteers into Team Leaders, Coaches, Ministry Partners, and other leadership roles.
- Provide leadership with regular insight into the health of CCC's volunteer culture, including trends, challenges, opportunities, and recommended improvements.
