Accountabilities

In this role, you will analyze revenue cycle systems and billing processes to identify issues, improve performance, and ensure accurate system functionality across healthcare operations. You will collaborate closely with IT and operational teams to troubleshoot system challenges and support ongoing improvements.

  • Conduct detailed analysis of revenue cycle data to identify and resolve billing and system-related issues
  • Collaborate with IS application analysts to troubleshoot, research, and optimize system performance
  • Support the development and maintenance of system dictionaries, master files, and configuration tables
  • Create test scenarios and assist in validating system updates and enhancements
  • Prepare reports, documentation, and analytical summaries to support decision-making and compliance
  • Assist in defining and improving operational procedures and system standards
  • Provide training and support to end users on system functionality and process changes
  • Monitor project progress and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
Requirements

This role requires strong healthcare billing knowledge combined with analytical and systems experience in a clinical or hospital environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with data, resolving system issues, and collaborating across technical and operational teams.

  • Associate degree or medical business school education preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of healthcare billing experience with strong research and problem-solving exposure
  • At least 2 years of computer systems experience or formal training in relevant tools or platforms
  • Experience working with healthcare information systems in hospital or clinic settings
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex billing and revenue cycle data
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and support process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and training support
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and documentation abilities
