Area Manager - Multi‑Location Laundromat Operations in Lakeland, Florida at Fabkleen LLC

Position Summary
FabKleen is seeking an experienced, hands-on Area Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple laundromat locations. This role is responsible for managing Store Supervisors, ensuring operational excellence, maintaining facility standards, driving revenue performance, and supporting a consistent customer experience across all stores.

The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, mechanically capable, and comfortable managing people, processes, and multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities
Multi Location Operations
• Oversee daily operations across multiple laundromat locations
• Ensure each store meets standards for cleanliness, safety, customer service
• Conduct regular site visits and operational audits
• Monitor machine uptime, cleanliness, and supply levels across all stores
Leadership & Staff Management
• Supervise Store Supervisors and support their daily responsibilities
• Train, coach, and develop supervisors and attendants
• Ensure staffing coverage and assist with scheduling needs
• Address performance issues and support hiring decisions
Maintenance & Equipment Oversight
• Perform basic troubleshooting on washers, dryers, boilers, and card systems
• Coordinate repairs with vendors and maintenance technicians
• Track equipment issues and ensure timely resolution
Inventory & Supplies
• Oversee inventory levels for soap, cleaning supplies, vending etc.
• Ensure supervisors maintain accurate counts and reorder on schedule
Customer Experience
• Support supervisors in resolving customer issues professionally
• Ensure consistent service quality across all locations
Reporting & Administration
• Provide weekly operational updates to ownership
• Track KPIs: revenue, machine uptime, WDF volume, labor hours, cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards

Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in multi-unit retail, hospitality, or facility management
• Supervisory or management experience required
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to travel between multiple locations daily
• Basic mechanical aptitude (laundry equipment experience a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 30–40 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
