Hospitality Guest Experience Team in Palm Desert, California at DSRT Surf

DSRT SURF isn’t a traditional workplace, and we’re not looking for traditional hospitality staff.

We’re building a fast-growing hospitality and lifestyle brand where surf culture, guest experience, energy, and community come together in a unique way. We’re looking for positive, guest focused team members who are excited to help create an elevated and memorable experience across the property.

Our Guest Experience Team supports multiple guest facing roles throughout DSRT SURF, including Surf Concierge, Wave Lounge Host, and Beach Host positions. Team members may support guest arrivals, check in experiences, cabana and lounge hospitality, beach and pool operations, guest assistance, and overall hospitality support across the property.

What You’ll Do

• Help create a welcoming, polished, and high energy guest experience throughout the property
• Support guest arrivals, check in experiences, reservations, and general guest communication
• Assist with maintaining clean, organized, and guest ready lounge, beach, cabana, and pool areas
• Support guests with questions, directions, and overall hospitality needs
• Help maintain operational flow and guest readiness across multiple guest experience areas
• Assist with setup, organization, stocking, and presentation of guest facing spaces
• Work collaboratively with surf operations, wellness, and leadership teams
• Help maintain safety, cleanliness, and hospitality standards across the property

What You Bring

• Previous hospitality, guest service, resort, recreation, events, or customer service experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude and guest first mindset
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in fast paced environments
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members across departments
• Professional appearance and strong attention to guest experience
• Comfortable working outdoors and in active hospitality environments

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and move throughout indoor and outdoor operational areas for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 30 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and temperature conditions
• Ability to maintain a high level of guest interaction throughout shifts
• Ability to work in a fast paced hospitality environment

Schedule Expectations

This is a part time, in person position. Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events may be required based on operational needs.
