Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Specialist with a focus on communications to join our team in the life insurance industry. This role will drive strategic messaging, branding, and engagement efforts, ensuring that our communications resonate with target audiences and align with our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing communications, a strong understanding of best marketing practices, and the ability to craft compelling narratives that inspire trust and confidence.
WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO
1. Marketing Operations:
Strategic Communications: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies to support business objectives, brand awareness, and customer engagement. Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, including print, digital, social media, and events.
Content Creation & Management: Create high-quality content, including brochures, email campaigns, newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and video scripts, tailored to various audiences (policyholders, partners, stakeholders). Oversee website content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Brand Management: Strengthen the company’s brands by maintaining brand consistency and integrity in all marketing materials. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with the brand voice and tone.
Campaign Development: Lead marketing campaigns to promote life insurance products and services. Develop customer personas and leverage insights to craft personalized, impactful campaigns.
Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, underwriting, strategy, and compliance, to ensure cohesive marketing strategies. Supervise and mentor team members or external vendors as needed.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies and campaigns. Develop reports and presentations on competitive analysis for stakeholders and the leadership team. Use data insights to optimize future marketing initiatives and demonstrate effectivity.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or public relations, preferably in the financial or insurance industry.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other Office applications.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms, such as the Adobe suite, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms.
- Creativity and a customer-centric mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Proven experience managing multi-channel campaigns and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic analytics tools.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a regulated industry.
- Bilingual English Spanish
- Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Certification in Digital Marketing is a plus
