Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support our procurement and supply chain operations.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys coordinating purchasing activities, managing vendor communication, and ensuring materials arrive on time to keep production moving efficiently.You will play a key role in supporting operations through inventory coordination, purchase order management, and supplier communication while helping improve overall procurement processes.What You’ll Do- Assist with procurement and purchasing activities using ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Sage, or similar platforms
- Coordinate materials management, inventory tracking, and supply chain support activities
- Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery schedules
- Assist with sourcing raw materials, components, and services to support production demands
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, procurement records, and vendor documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations to prevent material shortages
- Track orders and follow up on delayed shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Support supplier evaluations and assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Help support procurement strategies related to sourcing, pricing, and inventory optimization
- 1-3 years of purchasing experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and follow-up skills when working with vendors and internal teams
- Basic understanding of procurement, purchasing, inventory, or supply chain operations
- Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar preferred
- Manufacturing or industrial experience is a plus
- Self-motivated team player with a proactive and problem-solving mindset
