About the Role:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in building a talented and motivated workforce that drives the success of restaurant operations across the United States. This position is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring qualified candidates for various restaurant roles, from entry-level positions to management. The recruiter collaborates closely with restaurant leadership and human resources teams to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. By managing the full recruitment lifecycle, the Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures a seamless candidate experience and timely fulfillment of open positions. Ultimately, this role contributes to maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence by securing top talent aligned with the company’s culture and goals.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and applicant tracking systems (ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting for restaurant or hospitality roles specifically is required
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to restaurant employment.
- Proficiency with recruitment marketing tools and social media platforms.
- Demonstrated success in building diverse and inclusive candidate pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for restaurant positions nationwide.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selection.
- Collaborate with restaurant managers and HR partners to understand hiring needs and create accurate job descriptions.
- Maintain and update applicant tracking systems to ensure accurate and timely candidate data management.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline through networking, job fairs, social media, and community outreach.
- Coordinate and participate in recruitment events and career fairs to promote employment opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies throughout the hiring process.
- Provide regular recruitment metrics and reports to leadership to inform staffing decisions and improve processes.
