• Conduct field investigations, surveillance, subject locates, and wellness checks
• Support federal-impact investigative assignments, including DHS-related initiatives
• Interview witnesses, subjects, and involved parties while gathering detailed statements
• Collect, verify, and document evidence and investigative findings
• Develop investigative leads through observation, research, and fieldwork
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed case documentation
• Collaborate with investigative teams while working independently in the field
• Maintain strict confidentiality and professional standards at all times

• Active law enforcement officer (required)
• Experience in patrol, investigations, detective bureau, or specialized units
• Excellent interviewing, communication, and report-writing skills
• Strong observational and analytical abilities
• Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion in sensitive situations
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally and regionally
