Job Description:

LPNs only!

Assess patients and dispense accurate medication amounts.Maintain accurate medication records to comply with DEA regulations.Enter verbal orders in electronic record.Log medication discrepancies as needed.Update records regarding certain prescriptions and OTC medications that patients are taking.Provide brief nursing assessments on new intakes.Administer TB skin tests annually.Perform monthly nurse assessments on all patients and any new intakes.Calibrate pumps on a weekly basis.Review patient charts for current monthly activity and document.Ensure nursing station is properly maintained.

Job Requirements:

Weekday hours 4:45am - 1:30 pm; Work every other Saturday 5:450 am - 9:30 amCurrent State of Michigan License required (LPN's only).Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.Key competencies include: analytical, nursing assessment skills, problem solving, diligence, planning, excellent communication skills, collaborative style (team player a must)PunctualityReliabilityHigh level attention to detailEffective interpersonal and written communication skills requiredConfidence with “can do” attitudeCustomer focusedAbility to work independently and meet deadlines
