- Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic vehicle inspections.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership service procedures.
- Inspect vehicles for potential maintenance and repair needs and communicate findings to service advisors and technicians.
- Maintain quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain productivity expectations and service department standards.
- Utilize dealership systems to document services performed and inspection findings.
- Properly operate shop equipment and follow all safety procedures.
- Support exceptional customer service through quality workmanship and professionalism.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience through attention to detail and timely service completion.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Work collaboratively with service advisors, technicians, and management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Participate in training and development opportunities.
- Support department goals and operational excellence.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to provide and maintain personal tools required for the position.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
- Previous experience performing oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, or other light-duty automotive maintenance.
- Automotive coursework, vocational training, or technical school experience.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle systems and maintenance procedures.
- Desire to pursue a long-term career in automotive service.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in a shop environment for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work around vehicle lifts, equipment, chemicals, and varying temperatures.
- Ability to safely operate customer and company vehicles.
