165,000 - 200000 yearly
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of three to six associates, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Oversee and manage a diverse caseload, ensuring high-quality legal representation for our clients.
- Provide strategic guidance and feedback to associates, empowering their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to align legal strategies with our mission and values.
- Ensure compliance with legal standards and ethical practices, maintaining the firm's reputation for integrity.
- Develop and implement innovative legal strategies to improve client outcomes and satisfaction.
- Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss case progress, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications:
We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about the law, their team, and the clients who come through our doors during some of the most difficult chapters of their lives. You are adaptable, able to shift priorities quickly, think on your feet, and make sound decisions under pressure. You do not take challenges or feedback personally, and you understand the importance of working collaboratively. You are a true team player who can motivate others while also being a driven, proactive go-getter who takes ownership and gets things done.
Active member of the State Bar of Georgia in good standing
- Minimum 10 years of experience exclusively in family law. This is a firm requirement, not a preference
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory, senior, or lead attorney capacity, overseeing a team of attorneys
- Deep working knowledge of O.C.G.A. Title 19 and current Georgia case law
- Proven courtroom experience in Georgia Superior Court; Cobb County familiarity strongly preferred
- Demonstrated history across the full spectrum of family law: high-asset divorce, contested custody, domestic violence, legitimation, adoption, and prenuptial agreements
- A direct, confident communicator who addresses issues head-on, gives clear feedback, and has hard conversations without hesitation or drama
- A natural mentor who invests in people and takes real satisfaction in watching them grow
- Detail-oriented and willing to go the extra mile to get it right the first time
- Embraces technology and innovation and is proficient in practice management software (Lawmatics, MyCase, or similar)
- Committed to inclusivity and respect. The clients and the team reflect the full diversity of our community, and you lead accordingly
